The Dante Alighieri Cultural Association \u2013 Bangkok proudly presents the \u201cITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL BANGKOK 2016\u201d, which will showcase a selection of 7 recent Italian productions from 13th to the 18th of September 2016.

\nAfter the success of the 2015 edition, the Dante Alighieri \u2013 Bangkok offers a new program of screenings, sponsored by Emporium and Quartier CineArt, and with the cooperation of the Italian Embassy in Bangkok, and the additional support of Qatar Airways and Peroni. The event is organized within the framework of the \u201cItalian Festival in Thailand 2016\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Film Festival will focus on a contemporary image of Italian culture through the quality of its most recent and best film productions. The selection alternates movies from well-known authors with debut feature films from young filmmakers. It offers a vivid picture of multi-faceted contemporary Italian society through dramas, comedies, fantasy and vibrant romance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event is pleased to have as testimonial and guest for the entire period the leading actress Linda Caridi (playing the title role in \u201cAntonia\u201d), that will introduce the opening ceremony and present the screening of Antonia.<\/p>\n

Projections are scheduled from the 13th to the 18th of September 2016 at the Quartier CineArt Theater 3 on the 4th floor of the EMquartier.<\/p>\n

All films are in Italian with English subtitles except for Youth which is in English.
\nTickets are 150, 170 and 300 Baht each according to seat choice.<\/p>\n
