The Thai Trade Exhibition Oman 2017 (TTXO 2017) will provide buyers from Oman and across the Middle East region with the opportunity to savour the best of Thailand\u2019s numerous quality products, this May.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTTXO 2017 is the perfect opportunity for Middle East and North Africa customers to appreciate what Thailand has to offer,\u201d said AkavutTangsilikusonwong (Tony), Managing Director of Vega Intertrade& Exhibition, the show\u2019s organisers. \u201cWe are bringing Thai-ness to Muscat.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the theme \u2018Health and Wellness\u2019, TTXO 2017 will feature around 100 Thai companies offering services ranging from hospitals, medical supplies and supplements, herbal goods, spas and cosmetics, food and beverages, home and decorative items, jewelry, fashion products and souvenirs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Middle East represents a great potential market for Thai companies,\u201d added Tangsilikusonwong, \u201cand Thai companies have much to offer Middle East customers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In total, around 100 exhibitors and 22,000 visitors are expected to attend TTXO 2017, which will run from May 9 to 13 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre(OCEC), Muscat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thai Trade Exhibition Oman 2016 (TTXO 2016) generated international trade worth approximately US$30 million in business matching activities, with 85 Thai companies exhibiting their products and services.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBangpakok 9 International Hospital attended the Thai Trade Exhibition 2016 last year and received very good feedback from visitors,\u201d saidPrateepKuapisamai, Managing Director of Bangpakok 9 International Hospital. \u201cPeople from the Middle East are confident in the quality of Thailand\u2019s hospitals and wellness service providers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Anan Salem, Arabic Business Development Manager of Vejthani Hospital, shares Kuapisamai\u2019s optimism.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTTXO is a great platform for us to show the potential of Thailand’s healthcare services,\u201d he said, adding that about 30{1e9df3ff221fec67f2b46c55bd82e9961ae187e1b606f79864c8b507548386d0} of the hospital\u2019s overseas patients are from the Middle East. \u201cWe want to create brand awareness in the Arab world and update them about our high quality services.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

May 9 and 10 will be trade days, with May 11 to 13 open to the public. Doors are open from 10 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 10 pm (except Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm).<\/span><\/p>\n
