The Thai Trade Exhibition Oman 2017 (TTXO 2017) will provide buyers from Oman and across the Middle East region with the opportunity to savour the best of Thailand’s numerous quality products, this May.
“TTXO 2017 is the perfect opportunity for Middle East and North Africa customers to appreciate what Thailand has to offer,” said AkavutTangsilikusonwong (Tony), Managing Director of Vega Intertrade& Exhibition, the show’s organisers. “We are bringing Thai-ness to Muscat.”
Under the theme ‘Health and Wellness’, TTXO 2017 will feature around 100 Thai companies offering services ranging from hospitals, medical supplies and supplements, herbal goods, spas and cosmetics, food and beverages, home and decorative items, jewelry, fashion products and souvenirs.
“The Middle East represents a great potential market for Thai companies,” added Tangsilikusonwong, “and Thai companies have much to offer Middle East customers.”
In total, around 100 exhibitors and 22,000 visitors are expected to attend TTXO 2017, which will run from May 9 to 13 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre(OCEC), Muscat.
Thai Trade Exhibition Oman 2016 (TTXO 2016) generated international trade worth approximately US$30 million in business matching activities, with 85 Thai companies exhibiting their products and services.
“Bangpakok 9 International Hospital attended the Thai Trade Exhibition 2016 last year and received very good feedback from visitors,” saidPrateepKuapisamai, Managing Director of Bangpakok 9 International Hospital. “People from the Middle East are confident in the quality of Thailand’s hospitals and wellness service providers.”
Anan Salem, Arabic Business Development Manager of Vejthani Hospital, shares Kuapisamai’s optimism.
“TTXO is a great platform for us to show the potential of Thailand’s healthcare services,” he said, adding that about 30{1e9df3ff221fec67f2b46c55bd82e9961ae187e1b606f79864c8b507548386d0} of the hospital’s overseas patients are from the Middle East. “We want to create brand awareness in the Arab world and update them about our high quality services.”
May 9 and 10 will be trade days, with May 11 to 13 open to the public. Doors are open from 10 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 10 pm (except Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm).
